A couple shoot with Frannie & Jacinta

Being photographed is one of the scariest, most intimate, but also most beautiful things a couple can do in their relationship. I had the pleasure of shooting a lovely couple who came to me with the desire to get photographs together but riddled with anxiety about what the process might look like. Although I usually come to my shoots with a plan of what it will look like, it became apparent that a more casual and organic shoot would make my couple more comfortable. It is important that I am adaptable. We headed to a pretty outdoor location where instead of directing poses, I provided conversation prompts, games and activities for my pair to do. They had a blast because it didn’t feel like a shoot but rather a fun adventure out with each other.
